"Sideways" is an awesome jQuery full-screen image gallery created by Malihu. This example album theme will show you the basics of how to use "Sideways" in a Zenphoto theme.

What is an album theme? Did you know you can assign a theme to an album only? That way the gallery site may use one theme, and you can have different themes for different albums. Cool, eh?

This example covers only the very basics of implementation, therefore it should be expanded as needed, however the download could be used as a stand-alone album theme.

What makes Zenphoto so versatile is the themeing possibilities. A lot of CMS call different parts of the application in chunks, therefore limiting possibilities. Zenphoto has so many functions that can be used individually as needed, as well as being able to custom code directly. This results in a very finite control over what is displayed and how, including integrating with jQuery plugins or scripts, as this one does.

To try it out, download the attachment, unzip, and upload the folder "sideways" to your theme directory. Next, edit an album in the admin and set the album theme to sideways. Note: You cannot use this download as a gallery theme.
